That's correct. I used ARB's fridge harness to run it straight from the battery to the fridge, and it'd done great. I keep it set on
the low 30s at all times.

Awesome thanks for the help! I'm surprised the starting battery hasn't had any issues. Me and my wife will be driving the trans America trail in July hopefully all the way to Oregon and a dead battery would be the worse

Very cool. I recommend carrying a jump pack if traveling alone. One of the small lithium packs work really well, and can be used for charging phones or
other items without starting the truck. Makes a potentially big deal, just a very minor inconvenience.

How long are you planning on the trip taking?

We're heading west mid/late July also.

I'll be on the road for 2 weeks. We will start in Asheville and hopefully get to Oregon in a week to week and half then take about 4 days to get home. We plan on leaving around July 17th

That sounds fun. I'm assuming you'll be hitting sections on the way out, as 5k miles of trails would be unrealistic. Have you decided on what sections you'll hit?

I have a idea but no solid plan just yet! I'm heading up to Midstate this weekend to pick up a new suspension for my truck. So far your prices there are cheaper than anywhere I could find online!!

Love your truck. Where'd you get the decal work done? Looking to get some custom work done as I build up my 2017 TRD OR.

Do you think you're ever going to put in the 4.88 gear set in it? I just went to 33's in my '16 and when I just went on a 600mi trip fully loaded with 4 people it tended to stay in 4th most of the way. What are your thoughts on changing gears? Worth it? Can the engine handle the rpm's in 4th for extended road trips? Do you stay below certain speeds on your trips? Any recommendations or suggestions would be very helpful.

4.88s are pretty high on my list, I think it will be very benefitial. Have you had the transmission software update performed? If so was it after November 15th, 2016?
If you Answered "NO" to either of these questions, the next time your truck is at the dealer, you should have T-SB-0077-16 Rev1 performed on your truck. It made a
huge difference on mine. I originally had the first version performed when it was launched in July and could tell ZERO difference before/after.

Congrats, you'll be pleased with the T3 . It was pretty straightforward. The cutting goes much easier with good equipment.
I use an air saw, and it cuts through like butter.:sawzall:

Thanks. This was in the Uwharrie mountains, but not on the OHV trail system that everyone goes to, or the land associated with Uwharrie Off Road Training Center.

Teetering on the edge of the weekend like:

Can't wait for the next few hours of work to drag by. My new flares came in to fix the gap where the old ones were
cut to fit the ARB bumper. I'll be installing them this weekend. I need to post up my old parts in the classifieds, as someone
with an inferno wouldn't need to cut a thing. I've got cut flares, cut front bumper cover, and grill for an inferno truck going the ARB
    route.
