I have a 2011 Toyota tacoma and i had to replace the blower motor connector today (little white plastic piece), I got it all plugged back in and the blower motor is blowing but I'm not sure it’s blowing as much as it used to. the air is coming out of the vents at about 40% on all settings and I was wondering if anyone thought that maybe it could be the resistor (it worked perfectly fine before the connector replacement) or maybe i need to resplice the wires. Thanks for your help in advance!

Most likely the resistor, they fail pretty often and getting a good connection at the plug may have changed the current draw and blown yours that was probably on its last leg.

Sounds like you reversed the wires, if the motor is running in reverse it's not gona blow much.

On high you do not use the resistor so that should help you determine if its the problem. Do you have a clean filter in there.

Blower Motor Connector - Is two wires + and - and plugs directly into the blower motor. If connected backwards it will run in reverse and produce very little air.

Speed Resistor Connector - Is four wires, plugs into the resistor pack inserted into the air duct under the glove box. If connected incorrectly will cause incorrect air flow.

    Which connector did you replace?
