Experiencing poor brake performance again with my 2005 Tacoma 4wd. After inspection found the front brake caliper inboard Pistons frozen. Resulting in only 1/2 of the braking force. These calipers only lasted several years. (Rock auto). Any recommendations on calipers and rotors to replace what I have?

is your booster working correctly? Maybe the trouble is there or your master cylinder...

Sounds like you've already diagnosed the problem with stuck calipers. You'll need to replace or re-build them.

OEM parts, and make sure the rear drums are properly adjusted...can make a big difference.

OP are you in the area where they use liquid brine??

After the first few years I now have 2 sets of Calipers I just swap them every spring rebuild as needed when the mood hits

No liquid brine just road salt in the winter months.
