Installing larger size tires throws off your speed/odo. The odo will read fewer miles than you actually drove. What size tires did they replace?

try cleaning the upper cylinders (seafoam), cleaning the injectors (concentrated techron or Redline SI-1 (redline has highest PEA of any cleaner)(PEA is the injector cleaning solvent)(avaliable at oriellys)

When did you last change your fuel filter?

    What is your tire pressure?

Hows your brakes? do you have a sticking caliper?

When did you last grease your driveline, and change gear fluids?

When did you last change your air filter?

    When were O2 sensors changed?

Where do you get your gas? Is it a reputable brand, or is it a no-name gas station in the sticks?

Theres a variety of things that come into play when trying to maintain good fuel economy.

What % larger are the new tires than the old? did you adjust for that when you figured gas mileage? also the added weight of the larger tires will effect mileage. You can do all the standard things to improve the engine efficiency but you won't get back to the original MPG with the bigger heavier tires.

so you have a 4.4% difference in overall height, but you added 20% to the width. How many gallons is half a tank?

I think the main issue is that the new 33's are far heavier and slightly taller than the old tires. you should fill up, and check how far off your odometer is by checking over a known distance or with a gps app. then see what your real MPG is. I would also check to see if the pressures are correct in the tires. with that much tire width your alignment might be off as well.

It could be wrong (mine doesn't move evenly or at all until I drive 80 miles or so) but you should be able to see what your mpg is anyway.

Totaled but still alive! Frame 2.0, Fog lights anytime, Seatbelt reminder delete, Secondary air filter delete, LED bed lights, Running boards, 2017 Rims, Ultra gauge, Cup holder/consol/glove compartment lights, Interior LED conversion, Blue Sea aux. fuse panel, fuse panel mounting plate by Yotamac, ProEFX heated towing mirrors, LED engine bay lights, Redline Quicklift Elite hood struts, Wet Okole Heated Seat Covers,m, Rear bumper 2.0, Decal free visors, Washable cabin air filter, Overhead consol auto dimming override switch, BulletProof Fabricating Skid plate, 2lo module.
I would do all maintenance and checks mentioned above. Then fill the tank, drive a hundred or so miles, refill the tank, and calculate the mileage. Then you'll know what your tires are really costing you

    Seriously, get your speedo adjusted!

Guys it's fairly simple. He's running an E-rated tire, a tire designed for V8 Full size quad cab trucks designed to tow 12,000 - 15,000 + lbs and transport trucks like UPS and Fedex trucks. This is the reason why it makes no sense unless you are heavily into rock crawling to run these kind of tires. These are puny little 190 HP V6 trucks.

Besides regular maintenance and up keep, if you want better MPG you need to go to a passenger or lower Load range tire. Simple as that.

    Bone stock. For now.
^ This. Why would you get E-rated (10 ply) tires for a light truck? I use a C (6 ply) or at the most a D (8 ply). The ride is much better too. A 10 ply tire will be much stiffer.
