This may not be the right forum, which I apologize in advance. I'm obliged to inform my fellow TW audience regarding his shallow and shady business transactions. I made a harmless purchase for his Tacoma badges he claims were never installed on his truck, with adhesive taping and scuff free. The item I received was completely different with what he assured to me, informing me his wife sent the wrong batch. His excuse is completely BS, only to find out that he never had a new set as discussed and expected me to be ok with accepting the "wrong" badges. I've asked for a refund, though he will only provide once he receives the wrong badges. I've acted in good faith by purchasing a product and expect the same in return regarding my return.

This is the same guy trying to sell stickers given as a free gesture by HomerTaco, a very reputable seller here at TW.

I will take further action if not settled accordingly. Consider this a last warning before I notify local NYFD officials of an employee fraudulently selling items to the general public. You can quit dodging my PMs asking for my refund.

I hate to hear anything bad like that about anyone. He has a Pro Comp lift I paid for weeks ago and have not seen yet, and have been giving him the benefit of the doubt he is busy, and will eventually get it shipped. I hope everything gets worked out. Good luck.

Just remember guys, paypal only refunds within 45 days. After that it can be quite a hassle. I usually give vendors 30 days before I warn them of a claim dispute, and then at 40 days I put in a claim.

Sorry to hear you've been waiting for the lift Skunk. If someone is advertising items for sale, this should be priority to provide those goods for buyers who have paid in good faith. Using the word "busy" is just an excuse.

So I have a question, I know we use PayPal a lot to pay for things we buy and some rather have them send them payment as family/ friends instead of paying for goods... That being said if we do it as family/ friends and don't get our stuff we can't dispute it with paypal if we don't get our goods correct? I've always had that question maybe someone can chime in. Excuse me if this has already been discussed.

If you send it as a gift, I don't believe there is anyway to dispute it. I may be too trusting, but in many hundreds of transactions, I have never had an issue yet, I hope this isn't the first. Hopefully there is a reasonable explanation why it took this long to ship. Not getting nervous yet...LOL

Well skunk, I've given him the benefit to refund my money even after sending his badges back. If anyone personally knows this guy, I'd give him a heads up. Never a good thing to have local city officials find out about an employee involved in a issue such as this.

You should NEVER send money as a gift unless you're in the same county lol. EVER. He can literally just walk away with your money now and there usually isn't a thing you can do about it.
