If you have installed the electronic version of Pop a Lock and wired it so it is controlled by your fob to work along with your doors..............

    1) how difficult did you find the wiring task to be? Were the instructions adequate?

    2) if you have the tailgate in the down position (like hauling something) and lock the cab with the remote, does this create a 'problem', like when you lock the cab but a door is ajar (the tone warning you it's not really locked)

    TIA!

    1. Wiring was really easy. The hardest part was running the harness along the frame and zip tying it every foot or so. You have an access cab like me so you run the harness to the passenger side seat area. There is a conveniently located rubber grommet that is right beneath the passenger seat and that was where I ran my harness to the inside of the vehicle. The two wires that you need to tap into are located behind the passenger footwell kick panel.

    2. The tailgate does not have a factory sensor. It will not alert you if it is in the down position.

Had it since my truck touched my garage. It worth every penny man.

I ran mine underneath the truck. Following existing wire. Went up the passenger seat.

You can lock your door and have the tailgate down. You can just shut the tailgate without unlocking the door and then relock it again.
