so ive spent a good portion of my evening trying to figure out whats wrong with my truck! here is the low down. i live in colorado and its cold right now, so i noticed this morning that while i was turning slowly left, there was a poping sound coming from the drivers side wheel well. it made that sound that your plastic dash would make when its kinda creeking if that makes sense. so i put the wheel at full lock and it started to grind and pop foward like if you locked the hubs and tried to turn on pavement. or when trying to turn if you have it in 4x4. i cant figure out what it is! any help would be greatly appreciated!

My '07 off-road did something similar last year, while parked or parking I could feel / here a pop when turning left. Put in in 4wd and it would grind while turning. Ended up being a bad driver side cv joint.

Yep, I had neither of those either. I jacked up the front end, turned left and right and there wasn't a pop. Lowered the front end just enough to put some weight on the tire, and could feel the pop coming from the cv.
