Pop and Lock tailgate lock for back up camera..anyone use?

    I have the power lock, PAL8521, with the re-enforcement bracket from ebay. I did have to pry on some things to get it to line up perfectly. No complaints. Works with camera.

    I'm guessing that if my 08 does have the onboard wiring for a camera, it would be for the mirror display and would not port over well to the aftermarket head unit. At the end of the day, as much as I'd like the look of an OEM tailgate handle camera (and would love an excuse to buy the newer pop-and-lock BOLT to replace my older version), it'd would end up being pretty pricey to accomplish what this little unit could probably do just as well.
