If it does not use the trigger for Lock and unlock.... then which wires would it use? I see the BA1 connector in a prior post, and that lives in the B-pillar. Is there an IC connector that feeds the BA1? If so, would it not have the wires that are the BA1 8/9 (red/green) that would be the right ones??

Which unlock/lock source do you require? Driver's or everything else after Driver's is unlocked?

I am hoping for everything after driver's door so I can use the double tap on the fob for unlock and not have the tailgate lock/unlock every time I get in the truck.

Also, thank you all for the responses. I appreciate it.

There’s a girl on YouTube who does the most in depth install tutorials ever. Often a bit lengthy but her video on the pop&lock install is the best out there. Just search pop&lock tacoma install and she’ll pop up. I think her name is Chloe or something

(I followed this the other day and installed mine in about 40 minutes and only took that long because I was being very particular about where I was running the wire in the undercarriage)

I installed mine down the driver's side. Used the tee harness. I never considered wearing out the actuator in the pop n lock.
