I wanted to be able to hit the button twice to lock and unlock tailgate, instead of it locking and unlocking at the first hit of my remote..been trying to locate any info or a schematic, but not having any luck

Green and Red wire on the top connector in the front passenger side kick plate area. Green to green of the pop and lock, red to blue of the pop and lock.

He says green to red and blue to green - now I can't remember which one I did. But if it's backwards it will lock when you unlock and unlock when you lock so it's easy to know and you just flip them.

Yeah I think there were some of the pop and lock units that were backwards wired. Who knows.

So yours operate from the rear door locks? You have to hit your remore 2 times to activate/deactivate it?

Follow that video instructions and you will be all set for the passenger door unlock. Do yourself a favor and double check that it's right before you put the panel back on your tailgate. I did it just like the video but I guess my pop lock was wired backwards. I didn't catch it until everything was buttoned up and then had to take the panel off and switch the wires. :annoyed:

I found on my 2017 Sport, that I could connect the actuator to the rear left door, (driver side post left of the driver),
in there you will find 2 pink wires with a green and a red line. I connected my tail gate actuator there. When I unlock the truck, first touch, the front driver side door unlocks, at the second touch the other doors open including the tail gate.
When locking, one touch locks everything, inckuding tailgate.
Operate tail gate before closing everything to make sure it is working. If when testing the conection is closing when it should be opening, just switch the wires at the driver side post and try again.

    I hope the picture helps.

I think the passenger side of the vehicle is easier for running wires, just my thoughts on that.
