    Hey CoTacoTRD.

too funny. you must be on this site 24/7. I like your style. Yeah dude your truck is really smart looking. well done. 315's huh. you must have a drop down lift, no? If not what is the extent of your trimming? what lift are you running? I'v got an OME set up currently with re-arched rear springs. B

Thank you. much appreciated. I have one more question. I'm looking to get into inexpensive steel rims (16' or 17's) to make the tire purchase less expensive. I'm imaging i'd need at least 8" to mount 285's and up. I used own 4 older fj40's and loved the utilitarian look of the those stock steel 15" rims. Of course those wouldn't fit me doublcab but any chance you have any suggestions?

I know that some run the FJ Cruiser steel wheels. As far as width I had 285's on my factory OR rims and they were only 7 inches wide. My F-5's are 8 inches wide. Just remember with a wider rim you will need a better offset. Currently I have a 3.75" offset to fit my 315's. I see you were linked to my build thread but I am only on a 3" adjustable coilover lift in front and a 4" custom lift in back. Trimmed the fenders about 2.5" up and the matching flares the same way. Then used a BFH to beat the wheel well some. A little bit of self clearancing and I am in business.

Great tires for the money. I have abused mine for 40K.
