anyone experience a pop sound when reversing into a parking spot? I give it a little gas to back up and tap the break to come to a stop and theres a pop sound and you can almost feel it under the truck. when i asked the dealership they didnt even look at it they just told me it had to do with the breaks and it was normal but iv had the truck for 3 years and never heard it till recently.

Pull the pins that the pads slide on on your front brakes and lube them heavy with that silicone brake grease, problem solved. They shift around when they get dry and make that noise.

I realize it's normal but it's a crock of shit that it is. I've owned about 25 vehicles from a 1956 Chevy pickup to a brand new Dodge dually 4 door 4x4. NONE of them have done this. Poor design to say the least. It's annoying as hell.

pull caliper pins and make sure they slide in and out smooth

also helps when pads don't stick in caliper too

I like to turn up the radio

 It'll happen the first time you tap the brakes after changing direction forward-reverse or reverse-forward
