Pop-up Camper Question

3 inch lift with Toytec Boss and All Pro UCA's up front. AP expedition leafs with Bilstien 5100 shocks in the back. 255/85/16 Cooper S/T Max tires. All Pro skids, rear bumper and sliders, Hidden winch mount with XRC 8000 winch. Dual Optima batteries with IBS combiner/isolator and solar. CMC. Auto sliding rear window mod, hidden CB, CVJ axles and plenty of other little mods.

I have a friend who wants to put a pop-up on her DCLB, but doesn't want to keep it there all of the time. She's looking for suspension solutions. Something that will carry the weight, but not bust her kidneys when the camper isn't on the truck.
Is anyone out there doing this with air bags? Whats the best solution?

Fox 2.5 lift. Pelfrey built rear bumper.

I did airbags and new Leaf springs. Leaf springs give me the lift when it is not on there but was not enough for the camper, so airbags do the trick with that. Ride quality is not as good as factory but it is not the worst and kind of like the rough ride. Truck does really really well when the camper is on it.
