Camping with a dog would be much simpler than with 3 human females.........

Had to cut 1 trip short because the overnight temp dropped to 19F. Once I got them pried out of bed (electric blanket under sleeping bag), it didn't take long for them to get dressed. O....the gripping and complaints and moanin' and bitchin' lasted way too long.........

It looks like that camper is even overhanging the 6ft bed. mid it’s off his truck see if you can test fit it.

While it’s a nice camper and good price I would probably pass...

3k probably turns into 4.5k with suspension and tires.

man, you do not want to do this. It'd be such a sweet camper and the price is awesome! but you're truck is just the wrong tool for the job. it'd drive like crap and be dangerous to boot. either grab the camper and get a 6+' bed truck, or pay hella dough for a fwc swift. my advice is just don't do it (with this truck.) kinda surprised more folks are drawing this line for ya... anyway, Good luck!

i have just seen so many pictures on the internet with short bed Tacoma's and pop ups and tailgates down that it has been done. i am currently asking the seller to get me the COG of the camper to see if it could work with my truck. and using https://www.truckcampermagazine.com...GyeMCEOujqdBWTTuCkb64S9IJKZSR8KlFDcWI0WZiGeeo to figure this out with numbers and not guesses. i just want this to work so bad as i dont want a bigger truck just a camper that fits and does not cost me as much as the truck. these truck are the perfect size to explore with

It's not impossible for sure! and couldn't agree more, the best size trucks for exploring. Good luck with it! Keep us posted on what you decide and figure out.

It always baffled me at how damn pricey a bed camper is. Some of those lance campers go for north of 40k. I walked by one of those when I was shopping for my popup trailer, I almost told the dealer that he typo'd an extra zero onto that price tag. I sure as hell wouldnt want to pay a 5th wheel price for a space thats too narrow to take a step without tripping over my own feet. Can't ever let out a fart since your ass will always be within six inches of someone else's face. I still cant believe that so many people are willing to pay that much for them.

paid $300 . The guy just bought a new travel trailer. He wasn’t even looking to sell it . Sleeps 4 easy!

Right now is a buyers market. People don’t want to pay winter storage fees.

If it were me, I would pass. Some food for thought:
We are headed into winter, so camping season is dwindling. I went through the same thought process and ended up settling on an OVRLND camper. I put my deposit in this time last year, and picked up the camper at the end of April! It cost about $7500, but I got a brand new camper with a warranty that weighs about 260 ish pounds. I paid half in the fall, and the other half in the spring. And this thing is so sweet:

this is exactly what i want but twice as much actually more. I would want to make a 6 foot flat bed with tool box walls with that topper on top. got it all planned in my head now just how to do it. that's why i got excited for this as i can swing that price tag

Yeah it's a tough choice. Camping is an exercise in compromise- and what I'm willing to give up isn't necessarily the same as anyone else. Love my trailer, but even though it has twice the ground clearance of my truck it still somewhat limits me on the trails I can take.

Yeah I get that. I was able to do it since I split the price into 2 payments. For my use it made sense, buy once cry once.

Do it! I spend enough time wrenching on my mountain bike. I wanted a camper that required no work, no upkeep, just adventure time.
