    There isn't and shouldn't be.

Tires are very personal. Research and experimentation is the only path to your exact needs.

They would have the standard ones on, but if someone wanted to change them they would just remove them and mount the new ones.

Whoever wants better tires. Or they could at least give you the option if you special order your truck.

It would be a huge inconvenience for the dealership, which is why it will never be done. But it would be nice to have more choices.

Toyota needs to assign aftermarket tires based solely on profiling/stereotyping the prospective owner, irregardless of what the person actually says they would like.
    Run with this TW...

    Be more like OP

He had a fucking rock ruin a brand new tire, and is the least bothered by the situation.

    Cheers, America!

I had the same thing happen this week! Truck is two weeks old and doesn't even have 900 miles on it and something on the highway punctured the passenger rear tire on the way home from work Friday. Was told by three tire places that it was unrepairable due to the puncture being too close to the shoulder. Sucks!

Only one shop could get me a replacement Toyo A30 within a few days because they happened to have ONE at their warehouse (apparently it's a new tire and mostly an OEM Equipment tire for Toyota). So I go tomorrow afternoon to have it put on. The nearest Toyota dealer couldn't even get me one for several days. For now, I'm running a plug in the punctured one temporarily without issue. Hopefully these toyos won't be "nail magnets".

13 summers I spend in Alaska, and never a problem. Off the ferry in Bellingham in October, not 5 minutes on I5, and I take a rock in the windshield. Go finger.

Toyota should give us options for windshields.

I want one made out of steel.

Driving on my flint road for 17 years has taught me the meaning of the saying "You get what you pay for"

I think Michelin Defenders are possibly the best tire Ive ever put on a vehicle. Not only do they resist cuts but they turned my ass light, hydroplaning 94 Ranger into a different animal. Made it 10x safer in the rain.
