I have an 04 Tacoma that I just had the icons rebuilt on. After putting everything back together....two days later I have developed a pop from the passenger side. I cannot reproduce the sound when the truck is sitting by turning the wheel back and fourth or by jumping on it. I had my wife turn the wheel back and fourth with me under the truck checking everything and nothing seems abnormal other than the rack and pinion has a little knock feeling. The lower ball joints have 70 thousand miles on them however don't seem movable. I guess I can start with outer tie rods and such. I re torqued the icons with the truck on the ground. I have new ball joints in my spc arms also. Seems to only pop if truck is moving or I can yank the steering wheel back and fourth and it does it. I just don't have a go pro or anything to mount under the truck. I kinda doubt it would be a body mount also. Any thoughts would be appreciated before I start throwing parts at it.
