Around here I would say Fords, Chevys, and Dodges, in just about equal numbers. Starting to see a lot more Tundras. Tacomas are fairly rare. Trucks in general are very popular though. The parking lot at work is probably greater than 50% trucks.

Where I work, the parking lot is dominated by trucks, mostly Fords. There is one other Toyota truck, a 92 v6 4x4. He has only spent 1100 in repairs since brand new in 92. The only thing keeping him from getting a new Taco is the fuel economy......he gets close to 30 with 3.0 v6 standard tran.

Lot's of Chevys in my neighborhood, but at ;east one other Taco (a dc). The only other truck in the parking lot at work is a friend's 01 Tundra. I swear that Toyota must have been giving their trucks truck growth hormone, cuz my Taco is about the same size (well nearly) as the 01 Tundra. My ex has a mid to late 90's Tacoma, and it's much smaller.

Around here in PA.....lost of domestics. I see more Dodges everywhere than anything.

Dodge offers HUGE sales & cash back on Dodges in the last few years - not to mention employee pricing splurge they had.

I bought a 2004 Dodge Ram and traded it in last year. I tried to sell it privately - but there was sooooooooooo many used Dodges on the market, it was nearly impossible to sell the darn thing because of the over-flooded market. I kept lowering the price and still nothing. It was only 3 years old with only 22K miles on it and in MINT conditon. The toyota dealer ended up giving me the price I currently had the Dodge listed as - which was GREAT. TAKE IT!! TAKE IT!!

I look in the autotrader & truck trader in the magazines and I only find a few tacomas for sale (of all years) and there are always TONS of domestics for sale.

Well here in Alberta it's all about the lifted Ford's, Dodge's and GM's, diesels of course. Alberta is the Texas of Canada - rednecks everywhere! I do see a lot of Toyota's though, which is good.

So THAT explains why I enjoyed my first trip to Canada a few years ago! Flew into Calgary and drove up to Banff in '99. And it was on the boss's nickel -- back when the dotcom money was flowing. I miss those days.

Of course it's not a joke. That's high praise, there. Sho' 'nuff.

We now have eight 2nd generation Tacomas on my block (mostly older guys with no interest in online Forums), and one 1st generation Tacoma (some high school kid).

Now, at my office we have twelve 2007+ Tundras, five older Tundras (including my boss's), and two Tacomas (the security truck is an AC Tacoma). Everytime I turn around, some one has a new Toyota truck. It makes me think that Toyota is taking over Texas...

Sending a shout out to hawaii.. Pretty much raised there since 4th grade. Definately took a liking to the Tacoma, cause most my friends would have them lifted and some supercharged. Finally got mine in 08, here in North Carolina..

Oh and yeah, popular Truck here, but runniing side by side with Tundra. Not liking Fords which are a dime a dozen here on Bragg.. Ha ha.. But hey to each his or her own, matter of opinion...
