You would want to get metric instead of standard since its a Japanese truck.

i find aggregating the proper mix of tools to keep in the truck problematic. i am always tinkering with the collection.

Correct me if I am wrong, but even "domestic" car and trucks are now 100% metric. The SAE socket set will only help you on older vehicles.

I'm no expert but the metric set is for the same price, updated on OP.

BTW, Kobalt has the lifetime replacement warranty, just like Craftsman and Husky. One benefit I've found is that if you buy the cheap set and the ratchet takes a shit, they'll replace it. But here's the kicker: they don't sell the cheap ratchet alone. :spy: Go get yourself the better one as a free upgrade.

Where does the 63 piece hard case fit in your truck?

I like the value and variety, but I like the deep sockets of the 19 set...

Behind the back seat (cubbies removed). It's actually a little smaller than a standard briefcase so the tool count might be misleading.

Hopefully we can just go to Lowes and just buy it there instead of ordering it online and picking it up. I hate having to create an account and password.

Maybe I'm old fashioned that way.

Sears had online only sales and they want you to jump through the hoops. I showed up at the store and, of course, no sale price. Then the sales guy said" just order it online and wait a couple of minutes". Then I started to put the item back (Die Hard Jump Starter) and he got the manager to approve the sale. Buying a car is easier LOL.

I'm a big fan of the Sears reward program. Every so often, they send you coupons or free cash to spend (they usually expire within a week). I buy a lot of my small tools that way.

Sears will soon be a distant memory so be careful getting too invested into their programs.

Yeah, but they're holding on. I'm not helping much since I only use the free cash they send me and rarely spend more than that.

I always liked Sears. Really sad to see it circling the drain.

I saw on the news where 47% of "affluent shoppers" are bargain shoppers.

It's unclear how "affluent" was defined.
