Portable stoves and setups.

is anyone running a portable stove setup on their 3rd gen yet? Looking to upgrade from my portable coleman and go with something more organized and permanent with the droor/slide out im building. Trying to figure out some decent brands to go with. Only criteria for me is stainless steel and 2 burners. Also best way to setup the propane tank, ect.

Considering a partner steel 22"

 

I run a Primus in my teardrop (the hose runs out the bottom).



The Camp Chef's have a super rep, but those Partners are hard to beat.

Hehe, have this for my current snow setup:

I'll see if I can find a photo of my current truck cooking setup. I have a plastic foot locker that my Coleman two burner propane stove lives in the bottom of, then all the dishes and cleaning stuff nests together on top of that, alongside a couple propane canisters. Long-term plan is to get a tear drop, and I'm loving your setup @Sagebrush

My plan hopefully is to get the CBI Rear Bumper w/ swing out carrier w/ shelf to put stove.

 

are you in an igloo?

 

Nahh, just in a camp kitchen that a friend dug out. Nice bench with a wall behind us to block the wind, with a 'table' surface for cooking in front of us. I've never done an 'igloo' per se, but have done a few nights camping in snow caves (both naturally deposited and piled snow). Wouldn't cook inside one though o_0
