    There is no "one way" to build a Tacoma.

    All well, and good, but that's what so good about having options, everyone can build the off-roading rig that suits them.

    True but I was just responding to the $20K post for portals. If you can do the labor yourself then you're still in the $16k-17k range.

    Cool awesome responses. I truly appreciate the feedback. Kinda the thing I am thinking if I am going to keep this truck a daily driver with towing on the Weekend probably a bit overkill however if I am going to move to the mainland and use it for overland adventures it might make sense.

    I just have to admit the portal lift looks awesome
