I don’t mind Californians moving to our sacred Oregon as long as they leave their liberal fucking views where they came from. Oregon is on its way to becoming a horrible place to live with all the people bringing their views and horrendous voting here. All the good people are going to start moving east :anonymous::crapstorm:

In my three recent visits to Portland I see the 'Californication' happening there. After hearing about Initiative Petition 42, the traffic and aggressive drivers, real estate prices and housing developments, it feels more like a SoCal city. I'm lucky to be going to a school there but ill be checking out Idaho and Montana during clinical rotations.

Born and raised in Portland but I spend my time outside of the city with my truck. Lately I've been doing snow runs at Olallie Lake with the occasional stay at a cabin at Olallie meadows.

I’ll be moving from Hawaii to outside the Portland area either end of 2019 or beginning of 2020. Hawaii is just getting tooooooo expensive. A million plus a shack. We are moving to be able to afford a future for my daughter.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, rear bumper, and skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
Its a shame what's been done and still being done to OR and WA. I lived in the PNW for 6 years and loved everything about it minus the political climate. Beautiful area of the country with a ton of outdoor stuff to do and places to explore. Would love to move back to that area one day but with the way the region is headed no way.

Portland metro area has been way more progressive and left leaning before Californians started moving in.

I agree with you but the majority of Oregon was not.

The hard part to deal with is that 3 counties control the whole state when it comes to voting.

    Let's steer it back!

What other areas are you eyeing to drive once you get there? Do you have a dirt bike?

I'm bringing my plated WR450 up with me. I plan to do a lot of day trips exploring with the truck and bike. Just upgraded my camping setup to an RTT, so I'm also looking for camping areas when the weather gets a bit nicer.

I don't know the areas outside of Portland very well so I'm open to hear from people and some of there "go to" wheeling places. I have a Harley that is still in California. once it gets a little warmer up here I will be bringing it up. I think you do need a ohv pass though correct?
