Hey all, I’ll start throwing up (lol) my “build” and my wheeling trips. I’ll also be doing a teardown and cab swap over the winter.

Here’s what I started with, in August of ‘18. $900 buy in, 250k miles.

With a bit of work, we got a windshield in, and got it going again. Got doors all lined up, and working properly. And started driving it.

Got her all put together near the end of spring. We did some short day trips, and some fun trails, then got after exploring some of the favourites and some that we’ve been trying to get to. First was ruby falls. In June. In 10” of snow. Next run took us to radium hot springs BC, and points west. We’ve been trying to get to the end of this trail, Bruce valley, where there’s supposedly a couple old mines, for several years. And, yup. Skunked again, by avalanche remnants.

We pointed the wheels towards another spot, and once again, we were stopped by snow. So, we headed for home.

Instafan also checking in! I had no idea the cab was so pooched holy smokes. The fact that you got a windshield into it is incredible. I love this rig.

Thanks!! Yea, she was a mess. Luckily, he hadn't written it off thru insurance, so there was minimal hassle getting it back on the road. The windshield has started to stress crack tho, that's why it's time for a cab swap. I'd like to wheel it for years to come yet.

In between trips, I got my loggers box thrown on my fab table, and started cutting the tool boxes into it. I plan to do a double battery in the passenger box, and I have a Viair system to throw in one weather proof box or the other. I’ll also be setting them up to keep tools and recovery gear organized. I have a headache rack for this as well, and plan to carry my spare x2 up in between the boxes. I’ll be mounting an M8000 at the rear too.
