I dont know what kind of a gas mileage I get. That goes for every vehicle I've owned.

No, insterstate driving, some hills but generally flat. Speed was limited to 55 mph and I watched other cars like a hawk to move when I needed to let trucks pass. 2 lanes per side on an INTERSTATE is an utter joke. This was not a perfect run either, I believe the truck might could get 29/30 with a perfect run.

The economy where I live relies heavily on oil, and the price per barrel is important. I do my part to keep up demand, and the price of oil. That's positive, right?

Hmmm my 4Runner is heavier and has a more powerful version of a similar motor so I don't see how it could get better mileage?

Don't know. But the 4Runner gets 18-ish in mixed driving every day, and the two Tacos get 15 to 16-ish in the same conditions. Not worried about it, just an observation.

Side note - are the 4.0's not the exact same between the two trucks?

I see that you have a 4th gen 4runner. The motors were the same but the 5th gen 4runners got a dual vvti motor with more power so maybe that's why mine get worse mileage?

Complain to your state/local government for having "interstates" with less than 4-5 lanes per side. Not my problem honestly.

Hey I move when needed but typically just stayed in the right lane. The only issue was trucks, they really need their own lane to cruise in unhendered
