2015 TRD-OR 4X4 with 265/75/16 Wrangler Duratracs and a softopper I get ABOUT 16.75 Combined. And high 17-18 when I keep my foot out of it on the freeway. Best I’ve ever done was 20mpg all highway doing 55mph because my buddies FJ would just dump gas over 60mph.

    i love this truck.

My 07 TURD Sport with LT's and topper gets 17-18 in the summer and 13-15 in the winter. My 07 T4R with the 4.7 gets better mileage and has a lot more grunt but I still like my Taco more. Mitch.

The best mod I've done for my fuel economy is getting rid of my rear view mirror.
Easier to focus on throttle percentage with less visual inputs and physical stressors.

    same shit as everyone else
My 18 TRD OR with 33’s gets a solid 3MPG more than my 08 TRD OR with 33’s.

That’s 110ish gallons a year or $330 give or take.

I'm averaging 17 mpg no matter what tires E or C 265/70/17 KO2s, with a 1.5 inch lift, leer canopy.
Not interested in spending another 20G to get a new truck so I can have 20 MPG. Truck is great the way it is.

I don't keep track of my gas mileage just like I don't keep track of the price per gallon of gas.

It gets better gas mileage than any 10+ year old quad cab v6 that comes to mind I would imagine.

I bought a truck for a few reasons, gas mileage not being one of those reasons! If I were to buy a vehicle with gas mileage a factor, I’m not considering a truck!

I never complain about gas mileage. This truck gets twice the MPG of the cars I drove as a teenager. I could almost see the gas gauge goes down when I stomped on the gas pedal of my 1970 Monte Carlo.

05 double cab with stock size tires. if I don't get 20 MPG or above with a soft foot on the gas, i am not happy. Most of the time, I am happy.

Do you not budget your money?

A truck isn't an excuse for low economy... Trucks can get decent economy. Sure not as much as some small shit cars but the can easily do better than 20. Sub 20 is just pitiful...haha.

Yes, it is budgeted for a truck. It is simple to know the mileage of a vehicle prior to purchase.

I have a gas\grocery fund. And no I really don't care. I pay for gas and drive my truck. If I wanted to feather it everywhere and see what the best mpg I could get then I would drive a Prius.

Props to you though. I hope you get 30mpg someday, would be cool. Maybe remove the rear seat\spare tire?
