    Positive, as long as you are operating on the headlight circuit between the headlight relay and the headlight. For example, I have an auxilliary light relay triggered from the high beam headlight positive wire. However, if you are working under the dash, all bets are off. I believe there it is negative-switching (and it really makes a lot of sense there). Check out the FSM though to make sure.
