disconnect the switch. should specicfy...for an access cab...the switch is located halfway up the rear door..little black rubber lookin thing. gotta remove the rear door skin to get to the wires though. take off the rear door panel and a quick snip will kill it.

Not much yet, got a pretty good sound system w/ my custom sub box. Plan on adding more lights & a tool box.
Can't one just unplug the switch & leave the wire hanging or tape it up? Better for warranty/resale...

Is it the same beep as when people aren't buckled up? If so, you can take apart the instrument panel and remove the beeper.

Will the dome light operate correctly with the switch disconnected??? I don't think I'd want to do this.

Good point Isocoee, DAMMIT, I hate when logic louses things up! Gotta head for the buzzer itself.

Probably not, nor the 'door open' light on the dashboard. Imagine reselling the truck having disabled the switch...kid falls out of car...lawyer comes knocking...
