I have the Bilstein 5100s on the rear with a 2inch AAL and when I hit a hole the rear of my truck jumps like crazy. Also, if I hit a hole at an angle (say taking a corner), the rear axle feels like it wants to shift underneath the truck. Is this a possible sign for back rear shocks? They only have 20k miles on them if at all.

I had one of mine go bad at 20,000 miles, but mine was actually leaking really bad. If you take it off you could try and see if rebounds and compresses properly, but you'd probably need one that you know is 100% in order to have one to compare to.

Well looking at the shock itself it looks terrible (black grease all over the outside), passenger side looks just fine though. I was thinking maybe u bolts loose? But shocks are more in the area. What did your bad one feel like when you hit a pot hole?
