Possible Feeler GB A.C Control knobs 01-04 1st Gen

After replacing my control knobs in my 07 FJ Cruiser with Ellis Precision A.C. control knobs, I fell in love with the look and the feel. Not only that I thought my FJ had a better look than the original design. I did some research and couldn't find anything for my 03 Tacoma.

Knowing that Ellis Precision makes top of the line after market billet parts for Toyota's, I reached out and asked if he would be willing to make a set.

He said he'd have to do research and development but if interest peaked at a minimum of 25 people, he would be into it.

Here is what it looks like for the FJ cruiser

 

Nice looking control knobs, but his site is showing $169 for a set. Is this actually the price? Are we talking the round knobs or the other ones? And would he be developing these for just 1st gens?

 

I was asked to get a minimum of 25, so there was no pricing discussed. I imagine it would be lower than 169 for a set but don't gold me to that. Ellis precision is doing all the work.

I haven't talked to him about other gen or even researched how similar or different each gen is. Once again I'll leave that up to Ellis precision

Not trying to be an ass, but I'd say Ellis Precision needs to decide on which products they're prepared to manufacture and the discounted pricing for it. Hard to run a GB without definitive information.

 

That's why I labeled possible feeler, meaning it hasn't hit feeler stage. It's to guage interest
