We've been asked by a number of members here if we'd consider a group buy on our premium high lift hood strut kits. We could offer free shipping or 10% off to TW members, depending on the level of interest.

Our hood strut kits are unique in that they allow you to choose your hood open height during installation, anywhere from the stock height up to 6" above stock:

Once you see the increased lighting and access of the high lift struts, you'll never want to settle for stock height again.

All components in our kits are professional OEM quality, with heavy gauge powder coated mounting brackets, and German engineered, 100% USA made premium struts made to our precise specifications by OEM supplier.

    So who's interested?

Unfortunately the 2nd Gen Tacos don't give you many other options, unlike the 4Runners. You can always use rivnuts if that's your preference. We've done both, and they have their pluses and minuses. Rivets get a bad rap, but they hold airplanes together, and are actually ideal for shear, which is the primary loading in this application.
