Hey guys! I am a mechanical engineering student and I am looking for companies that are based in the dever, boulder, fort collins, ect. area. My girlfriend is looking to go to grad school there so I want to get my foot in the door of a company out that way.

Any suggestions would be appreciated even If you know they don't have any positions that they post.

I would really like to get into automotive, aerospace, sporting goods (bikes), or any other interesting industry. It would be a nice change of pace since my last two internships have been kind of dull.

Thanks for the help guys! :D

Check with the career center at the Colorado School of Mines. That would be a great resource! Good luck.

I'm planning on moving out to CO some time next year and was looking on craigslist just to see what all kind of mechanical engineering/drafting jobs were available. There seemed to be a good number of jobs around central CO. Even if they're looking for a full or part time employee you can always check to see if they do internships. Especially with some of the bigger companies. Call and ask, what do you have to lose? Worst they say is, "no we don't do internships".
