Any update on this? Mine just started doing knocking when I close it. It's kinda loud and annoying .

I was told that “it’s how it’s designed” it’s both on the driver and passenger front doors. My rear doors do not have this sound .. what year do you have?

2017 Double Cab SR5 4x4. I actually just checked to see if the black stickers we're alligned or not and both driver and passenger side are off a little bit about the same amount so I don't think it's that. But when my door is about 4 inches from being fully closed there is quite a loud click or knock. Only when closing though.

They did change the door side mechanism for me or pin/latch. I had to get two opinions for two different techs at the dealership but they did it. Just from re reading my post from the year and a half ago it must have been loud to make me fight tooth and nail to get it fixed. Warranty is the best I hope you are still covered

I guess I'll tighten and lube anything that looks remotely related to the that mechanism, first. Thanks for the update.

The vinyl pillar sticker seems to be not lined up equally. The top of the pillar sticker isn't leveled thus the bottom wouldn't be either. My 2018 Pro is the almost the same but not as bad.

Bringing back up an old topic (hey, I searched), I thought my vinyl was just badly misaligned as well, but noticed the other day the body lines between the front and rear doors are also not lining up on the driver side. The lower rear corner of the door also looks like it slightly sticks out compared to the rear door.
