Always fill out the Toyota Intersection Surveys in hopes of the gift card drawing, last one was question about a remote start option which I would love, but today's really intrigued me, Toyota using pictures and comparing competitors tailgates and would I be interested in one if available at an additional cost. Just intriguing.

I want nothing to do with any of those. Especially the bumper steps, I think those really take away from the look of the truck. I like the Toyota mentality of keep it simple. They are not losing any sales due to lack of those features. People are buying these trucks for their reliability, appealing looks, and capability.

When you answered "not interested" the next prompted question was why and an option was "not aestheically appealing" lol.

Haha I hope they don’t put them on the Tacoma. It doesn’t really go with the Tacoma image of a tough capable outdoorsy truck.

We will see, so far I've seen surveys about Apple Carplay, Steering Wheel control placement, Remote Start and now the Tailgate options.

I would rather have other features than a fancy tailgate or bumper.

When are they going to send out a survey on headlights??? The 3rd gen should of came with an option on factory HIDs from the beginning. But nope, lets talk about worthless tailgate and bumper mods nobody wants.

I think the chevy style steps in the bumper are better than the kickdown style that’s available on the Tacoma. That gmc multi function tailgate seems like it end up being a reliability nightmare long term.

That is the old ford tailgate step. The new one, can’t even tell it’s there.

I think that the GMC Sierra tailgate is dumb but I wouldn't mind that tailgate step.

Yep, Dad's 14 Raptor it was cool, but not very hidden and seemed flimsy, his 2018 is total opposite, well hidden, better design and seems way more sturdy.
