    so heres the deal...

my parents have made it clear that they would like for me to trade in my truck for a new 2010, basically the same truck, just brand new... great... new truck, start fresh........

my issue is that i have put a lot of aftermarket accessories and parts into this truck, and a lot of my time and effort... its true i can take off most, but not all of the things i have done... i will keep the tires, radio, light bar, tonneau cover, amp, sub, etc... mostly anything i can take off, i will keep... but its the effort to take them off... and reinstall some or all of them into the new truck... that would make it seem not worth it...

can i get some advice please?

    thanks to all

You won't get much, if anything, in trade in value for after-market accessories but I guarantee you'd pay just as much to buy them all over again. If you want to mix it up, take what you have off and sell what you don't want... use that cash for some choice mods and live a happy life.

If they are giving you a brand new truck why would you complain about doing a little work to get off your aftermarket parts. Just take the time and take them off.

Sry, but you are about to get flamed big time..

the basic question is, to go new or stay old and get a 48000/4yr comprehensive warranty...
