Possible permanent stains on my King shocks after detail shop

I'm always open to learning something new but confused given King states it's anodized 6063 aluminum

 

There’s almost zero chance that the people responding here would have been otherwise productive. I include myself in that devastating roast.

 

I don’t know if it varies by P/N but the Kings I’ve spec’d out are aluminum, at least they specifically state that the pistons and reservoirs are aluminum. No statement as to the body material in the info I read.

 

Only thing else I found was stainless steel and chromoly but those don't oxidize easily either.

 

Body is steel, built a dozen + sets of them for custom apps. Sold quite a few OEM units, too. Most of the hydraulic fittings and various hardware is steel.

I’m pretty sure it’s reduced our collective IQ. What a virtual stoning of a guy upset a detailer returned his 4K suspension in worse cosmetic condition than he received it.
