i dont know about everyone but here in pa,they have used much more of a salt/brine solution for road applications this year than ever before.
my 2010 has a new bumper being installed next friday and i requested it to be black to stay away from another problem.
i have spent about 8 hours the last three days at local aftermarket shop and seems they have had a few complaints and problems from many manufacturers about rust, paint scaling etc.
does any know what is exatly in those tanks on the back of the plow trucks.

Well here in CO they spray the streets down with Magnesium chloride, as de-icer, and to help prevent ice from forming on the roads
