Anyone still running the OCF with success? C4 don't sell their version any more so it seems like OCF is the only option should you want to keep BSM

Sorry to hear C4 doesn't sell their BSM sensor bumper any longer. The sensors in my C4 bumper work great and BSM remains a useful tool.

Is there a delete option for the BSM? Will I get an error message if I disconnect with an aftermarket bumper? I am getting ready to pull the trigger on new bumpers but want to avoid as many headaches (aftermarket/mod headaches) as possible.

Anybody tried to relocate BSM to taillights? Is it possible to recalibrate to a new position without big pain?

I'm in the middle of cutting up an extra set of taillights I have to relocate the BSM sensors. It's a huge pain but I'm only working on it when I have time. I've convinced myself it's gonna work!

cutting is simple, take a dremel'ish tool and no one can stop you, but working with sensor/ECU can be more difficult

Anyone know the dimensions of the sensor? I'm making some tail lights and the idea of relocating the BSM into the tail light sounds intriguing.

    Hey guys,
Sure wish I could get the C4 bumper. I found this one
    https://www.apogeeoffroad.com/shop/toyota-tacoma-rear-bumper-gen3
It looks great. Has anyone found any other options? My BSM is crucial on my farm for backing up. You never know when someone will fly around a corner on a forklift or tractor and that extra warning makes all the difference.

Resurrecting an old thread here, but I am obsessed with trying to plan a rear bumper install with dual swing outs with flip down tables AND retain my BSM & parking sensor functionality.

Looking like a pretty sweet design. This is essentially what I would have imagined.

Or... this may sound a bit crazy, but what about cutting out a corner of the box side and integrating a correctly angled mount into the box sides near the tail light. I am curious if the tail light & internals would cause any interference, but it would basically just be a small cutout in the box side, and have a cover of sorts over top.

The relocation shouldn't have an enormous effect on the sensor ranges shown in the link above.
Maybe I'll edit a picture later to convey what I'm sort of thinking about... Also wondering how terrible it would look with a small cutout of the bottom of your box side missing.

I saw online that they make tail lights with built in sensors below the backup light in the tail light.
