Possible to get a black dash kit? 2012

I have a reg cab 2012 tacoma the trim is black inside and I don't think the silver dash kit will match to good. I've been looking for a black kit but cannot find one. Anyone know of a good legit site? I looked on Amazon but they only had black also should I pay extra to have it installed. There is a local shop that does amazing work. I want to do it myself but I don't want to scratch or nic my dash. thanks for your inputs!

 

The 2012 Dash Kit's are unavailable...Scosche says summer at the earliest (Checked Yesterday). The 2005-2011 Metra/Scoshce dash kits are only in silver...you can spray paint it black if you want it black. Also it does not fit 100% perfect but it will work for now. This info applies to the Double Din versions...I don't know anything about the single din stuff as it has never pertained to my build.

 

You can get black dash kits for the 2005-2011. I don't remember is mine is the Metra or the Scoshe, but when I ordered my head unit from Crutchfield, I could choose between black and silver. I would assume that when the kits are available for the 2012, black will be an option...assuming one of the trim levels for 2012 comes with a black center anyway.

 

Ok cool thanks guys, I might wait for the 2012 to come out to save up money and also do it right. I wont be with the truck for 14 weeks anyway so I'll wait. Going to miss it
