I would hook up the 5 wire to four wire adapter for the trailer and use a separate plug hooked straight to the truck’s brake light circuit for the third brake light on the camper shell.

Both are for American cars sharing stop light bulbs with blinkers. Tacoma has separate Blinker and Stop light bulb. So both harnesses are useless (or overkill).

Like @02-5Lug wrote, juts splice the wire in the trailer adapter going to your left (or right) stop light bulb and connect it directly to the third brake light. Third brake light designed for camper shells is usually LED so it takes minimal current. Will not overload fuses (trailer is the separate story).

The red wire on the upstream side of the 5 to 4 is the brake light, tap into it right there for the third brake light
