The A Pillar looks damaged unless that's just mud and dirt, I recall that section being high strength steel so I am not sure if that area is even repairable.

Don't be driving like that, young lady. Not only are Tacomas expensive to repair/replace, but you could have been severely injured. I hope you get a brand new Tacoma, and drive carefully from now on.

Got a related question for you insurance experts, this thread got me thinking: If your truck is paid off and you total your vehicle and your insurance company subsequently replaces it with another one who owns the old wrecked vehicle?

A few years from now you will be at a stop light, you'll look over and there on an old truck will be your tool box. A long time ago I had a truck that got totalled. For at least a decade or two I would once in a great while see my truck's tool box on an old truck. I had drilled some holes in it in a unique pattern and I had painted it. So I could spot it. It went from old truck to old truck there in my home town.

I see Toyota has not yet switched to laminated glass on the side windows. A lot of newer vehicles now have laminated glass for the side windows.

Laminated glass has pros and cons.
In a rollover keeps you in the car.
Submerged and car on fire keeps you in also because you can't readily break it.
Best to know what you have just in case.

Good news from the Insurance adjuster at least...

On your new truck you should look into a full rollcage, something that would include a top cage...

Good Lord. If the truck is all that got seriously injured, you're damn lucky..and I'd say the truck did its job..
