Hey @Slipstream87, do you have a part number or anything that can be used for reference on the new weather strips / doors?

My buddy 2015 taco had the same noise. We pinpoint it to the left fender liner.

Can someone tell me where the lower control arm is that is making this howling with pictures or thread link with fixes. I’d like to plug them as my new ‘18 has been doing this from the first mile driven and only 1000 miles on the truck.

I heard it’s an easy fix and I’d rather do it myself as I had read the thread but can’t find any more that some tape over the holes fixed it...I hate the dealer touching my car if I can do it myself easily, for everything else beyond my ability, I totally would!

    Yeah, me too.

Look at the other threads..... I think you can get plugs at Home Depot or a hardware store...!

I believe it's just inside/beside the drivers side front tire and a little toward the front. There's a horizontal surface with a hole in it.

There are pics in this thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cross-wind-whistle-kazoo-noise-tsb.498774/#post-15500861

Find a 1/8" round bead of weather stripping and glue it into the channel on the door seal as shown in photos. It runs about 1/2 way down the front of the window and 1/3 of the way back on the top of the window.

Alternately, you can purchase new seals for ~$70 each. They have the bead pre-installed (TSB seals).

Guys the metal they use on these trucks is garbage I noticed this on my at 90 mph and never complained because I knew the dealer would blow it off. Now it does it at 80 mph. Tried to buy a new RAV and the mirror vibrated when closing the door and driving. Toyota is cutting to many corner.
