    ok just to be clear, this has nothing to do with the head gasket going bad, just means tightening bolts only puts a bandaid on it. I got paranoid AF when I first read this lol but I think I’m clear. I still just need to replace valve cover gasket.

    Correct- I made a mistake cause I was typing too fast. You have a classic valve cover gasket leak. Tightening the bolts on the valve covers will stop the oil for a minute, but it's not the solution. Sorry for the confusion.

    It really does seem like a lot- but it's very DIY'able. Patience and project awareness go a long way. When I did this, I put everything I removed in labeled bags, and grouped those bags into larger bags based on steps. Timmy's video is GREAT. Lean into it. If you have questions, ask 'em here, and this community will get ya sorted.
