    I’d go to whatever tire store you got them from and try to get Yokohama, Michelin, Cooper instead.

    I've seen this on a couple SLs, but with cracking in the sidewall. Both sets had low pressure, offroad miles. Falken engineers said nothing to worry about, but :confused: I have 10ply-rated and not seeing the same issues.

    Still looks too low for 5k miles. Do you drive on a lot of winding roads? I ask because I drive on a lot of winding roads, sometimes spiritedly and most of my tires don't usually last more than 25k miles.

    Don't, I went from 285 Ko2's to 285 cooper xlt's and the coopers have way better traction in rain and have a much softer ride
