Possible Wildpeak issues?

Huh. I wonder how much of it has been caused by water expanding when freezing

 

I’ve never had that impact my tires, it’s not like the water is forced to remain in place as it freezes. The water moves out of the tread, off the driveway, or the rubber simply expands and contracts. Maybe it’s a thing, but I feel that aspect of it is negligible at best.

 

Update: was told they were a defective batch. Paid the difference for these bad boys.

You mean it wasn’t because you used them outside?

 

Probably the route I'm going, that or another set of Dynapros.

 

I’ve gone through 6 Wildpeaks trying to find a set of four that aren’t out of round. Discount Tire warrantied these and I am headed in next week to get Ridge Grapplers instead. Don’t need/want a E load tire, so BFG’s are out for me.

Guess I'll have to be diligent with mine; Just bought some a few months ago. My first time buying ATs so it'll be interesting to see how long they last.

 

I actually mounted them myself and they are not much heavier then the Falkens. I don’t even notice a difference running them at 34 psi

 

My favorites are the threads where guys add a lift + 33s and then ask how to improve ride quality and gas mileage.
