Possibly buying another 3rd gen as collectors item.

So if I have a 95 Viper hiding in my garage with less than 1000 miles what be a good idea?

 

a guy in my neighborhood had a silver ACR that set off car alarms when he drove by. One of my all time favorite cars.

now, down the road from me is a car collectors warehouse. He has one signed by Carrol Shelby on the dash. It has 300 miles or so. of course its sitting next to a Veyron and one of Steve McQueens Mustang Mach 1s

So what is your opinion on where to invest your money.... stocks/ bonds, real-estate, gold/ precious metals.....????

I'm boring, low cost index funds. 99.99% of people can't beat the market picking stocks in the long term. Real estate is good too but you need to know your shit

I am not well off as I have pised away 5 million. Sad, but not angry

 

Better off investing in VOO or VTI than a high volume truck.

 

I don't really think it has to be restated any more, because many have made great points.

Seems like an easy decision:
-its about money: its a horrible decision
-not about money: its still a horrible decision
-its purely a personal desire to have a low mile mass produced truck: its still a horrible decision, but makes you happy

 

Plastics used heavily on modern cars are not going to age as well.
