Hey everyone. Coming from the Jeep world and hoping to have a new Tacoma soon after many months of thought. Been looking around my area and finally found one I might like.

Just one question, is this a TRD Pro? From what I saw online, the TRD pros mostly come up as a 4 door with a blacked out grill and paint match trim around the grill. Also a scooped hood. The CarFax says TRD pro on it.

Mostly worried about an unreported accident or something that would’ve caused them to find these body pieces to put on

Thanks and hoping to join the community soon.

No, the color is wrong for the pros, also no hood scoop.
Any pics of interior or suspension ?
Looks like it’s an Offroad, does it have rear diff lock ?

It has no scoop and an off-road decal. Get the VIN and punch it in to the Toyota website and you’ll see it’s an OR.

And do Pros from 2015 even come in access cab?

Says TRD Off Road on the bed.

What TRD PRO owner would put stickers from a lesser trim on. Would be like buying a Raptor and putting FX-4 stickers on it

After punching in the VIN, it came up as a 2015 Tacoma BASE with this
    PORT OR FACTORY INSTALLED
    EQUIPMENT

    • CF Carpet Floor Mats & Door Sill Protector
    • Port
    • ED Entune Audio Plus
    • Factory
    • FE 50 State Emissions
    • Factory
    • OC TRD Off-Road Extra Value Package
    • Factory
    • TW V6 Tow Package for Off-Road Package
    • Factory
    • WL Wheel Locks (Alloy)
    • Port
Regardless I do like how the vehicle looks and I can make payments on it without being tempted to add aftermarket stuff. Would this be priced reasonably at $25,500? 56k miles one owner

    So it’s an Off Road.

I would want to get that price down 3-4K depending on where you live. That’s what I paid 18 months ago with 32K.

    At least get down $2K.

Edit: to clarify, I paid about $26K for my 2015 OR.

It’s in Connecticut. Weird that the Carfax would say TRD Pro on it.

I recommend going to check it out, look at the suspension in front of a salesman and act really surprised "wtf this isnt a real trd pro"

2nd gen Pro came with Bilstein 6112/5160. They should have red springs that were "tuned by TRD"

This strategy would work though, just hype up the suspension with the salesman beforehand, and get super excited, and then when he pulls the truck up you look and see just the basic trd off road shocks and act mad that you wasted your time driving to come see a fake.

I can only hope he thinks it’s a TRD Pro. The CarFax says 2015 TOYOTA TACOMA ACCESS CAB/TRD PRO so maybe he was misled as well. Might help in the negotiation haha

I’ll let everyone know how it and if it goes

Main reason I’m looking to get into one is I own a rust belt Jeep. $2500 in frame and front axle repair and many many parts that just don’t seem to pay off when I’m left without a ride for work and have to steal my girlfriends Rav4. Why bother with the nuisance anymore.

I bought my 2015 TRD Sport Access Cab in December and my Carfax said “2015 TOYOTA TACOMA ACCESS CAB/TRD PRO”, not sure why Carfax lists PRO, but I can tell you that my truck was not PRO nor is the truck you’re looking at, looks like a nice truck though.

So it’s safe to assume the lift/wheels and the heated seats/mirrors are after market put in by the PO?

Those are not stock Pro wheels.

Are the seats cloth or leather?

Yeah the heat must be aftermarket.

And that looks like more lift than a Pro would have stock.
