Well like the title says I'm possibly getting orders to Whidbey Island, WA from Jacksonville, FL and I drive a 04 DC Prerunner. I was wondering if it will do well in the WA winters. I know RWD isn't the best for snow conditions so I just wanted to get some "local Knowledge". Thanks guys!-Swanny.

ive never been to Whidbey, but in north bend you wouldnt be able to drive it when we get snow because of the hills, if the islands fairly flat you would be fine im not sure if they even get snow

Throw some sandbags in the back and you should be ok. My friend has a 94 2wd pickup and gets all around seattle just fine. Not sure how much snow widbey gets though.

you should be fine. IF it snows, its never around long, and its really wet. Like 13greysled said, sandbags and you should be fine. Maybe chains if it dumps for some crazy reason.

I may have to drive there in Feb. from Florida... That should be fun... A buddy mine up there told me to come up through Oregon instead of driving through some pass that I'm not going to try to spell.. I'm hoping I won't encounter nothing my truck can't handle...
