First off i want to say this truck is dam safe. I walked off with just a sore neck and cuts on my hands.

Anyways i was on the freeway and a car infront of me braked really hard to avoid hitting some type of wood and I swerved and hit the car next to me and we both went across the freeway and hit the concrete barrier head on at 65mph. Im hoping they total it .. i would not want this truck back after this hard hit. I have statefarm.. they will be doing the adjustments shortly. Id probably cry if they deemed it not totaled and fixed this. All airbags deployed. This is the only picture i have and i didnt check for any other damage. They told me it needs to be 75% worth of repairs to consider it a total loss

Everyone was ok. No citations or anything. I had my lift and wheels on for not even 5 days

Probably not totaled. The cab looks ok, no misalignment with the bed, the hood is not even drastically buckled, and even a headlight is still on.

Airbag deployed and there will be some pretty significant suspension/frame damage... I'd be shocked if they didn't total it.

front driveline is all mangled, wheels are pushed back, could easily be frame damage. Just cause you don't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.
when @perpetualenigma3 had his totalled everything looked fine unless you looked directly at the frame.

I'd be really surprised if this isn't totalled, cost of repair will be a lot.

Yup all the broken plastic will easily cost 75% of the trucks value! :). Glad you are safe, says a lot about the vehicle.

Curious- was it the airbag that got your hands?

I have no idea honestly. Lost some skin on the knuckle area and my hands hurt like they were squished by the steering wheel. Had my hand and shoulder xray’d and its all good. Just bruising. No complaints. Very safe truck. I will be buying another one for sure

Sad part itll just add to the value of the truck. I have gap coverage anyways so its not helping me. Unless they cut me a personal check for my mods it helps. If they wont, i will be swapping stocks back on for sure

I’ll be the first - who was deemed at fault? Why did you not have enough distance between you and the car ahead to safely stop?

People here went scorched earth on me when I posted that I rear ended someone, so I’m just paying it forward lol.

Glad you are ok, make sure you get checked out, because you’ll be hurting for the next week or more.

Nobody was deemed at fault. No citations nothing. Officer simply said everyone handle your own insurance. Pretty much it happened in a split second I cannot even tell how far i was honestly
