    First, glad everyone's okay.

But...just to prepare you as my wife is in insurance.. the police may not issue a citation but insurance will assign blame and because you swerved and lost control of your vehicle while striking another, will likely get 100% of the fault.

Yup they already have said so and they have told me they will be contacting the person i hit to repair her car. Very professional insurance. I take fault for my own actions and i have no problem with that. I pay alot of money for insurance.. and glad to see theyre making the best of a shitty situation. My rates will go up but im still alive and will hopefully have a new truck

That's how it usually is here. Police leave it for insurance companies to decide fault. Unless there's a reason like DUI or such.

Glad you're okay. You may still want to get checked out. You're going to start hurting the next few days.

It wasn't an "occifer", was it? . Actually, sounds like the cop wanted to go home early. This happened to me too. His report was very succinct, perhaps a bit too much.

Great outlook and you're absolutely right. I think you'll be getting a new truck...all the airbags alone are probably over 5k.

Just looking at the picture it looks fixable. Even if the frame maybe off they do have frame machines to get it back. If your hood was pushed up far enough, maybe, but it looks pretty good.looking at your front fender gap , is does look pushed back but still not bad. don't get me wrong, I wish you get a new truck but it might be close to fixing. $.02

Glad your OK. Such a shame this happened to such a nice setup. Happy to know the Tacoma will keep us safe in this kind of incident.

Happy to know it is safe too. For head on at 65mph into a barrier, it looks like the Taco fared very well. Hope the OP gets a nice new ride after all is said and done.

Gonna be a hefty bill to fix that since I'm sure upper and lower arms and mounts are tweaked and airbags if they went off are not cheap. Glad you are ok man

Thread needs a poll for fixed or totalled, or fixed for how much.

Glad you're okay and truck did its job and protected the occupant in a crash. If there's frame damage there's no way in hell I would want it back even if it's fixed it'll never be the same that and you take a big loss on the trucks value
