A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
My truck had a $75.00 paperwork fee -- and I thought that was BS -- first time in my life I paid a fee like that!

The Craigslist market around me is sketchy. Con artists come out of the woodwork. They'll even take a car for a test drive and not come back. This gets reported constantly in the news.

Also in my area people don't get the concept of "as is" and like buying used cars directly from owners because "they know where the guy that sold the car to me lives". Yikes!

BTW the Toyota dealerships around me do a powertrain warranty like the one you refer to. Usually it's called "auto 4 life", "priority 4 life" or something to that affect. If this kind if thing is what you were refering to then I wouldn't lose sleep over it and you shouldn't consider it a major factor in getting what you want.

Yea, the "lifetime powertrain warranty" sure pulled me in to that dealership, so it works...

Looks like I'm going to pull the trigger on the truck for $4k and trade. but first, I'm going to take a hour and a half test drive (to go pick up my wife and both go sign papers).

Not really true on the price there. Just bought a 17 trd off-road 4x4 with p&t from Toyota of Cool springs for $4k off msrp. My red 2016 sr5 is currently for sale on their lot.

Well, that's just going off the price of the build. How much did they give you for your sr5?

Nice, so 4k off the price of the new one, that's around 34k?

Msrp was $39something. 4x4, p&t, rubber mats, predator steps, mud flaps, and something else I can't think of.

Good looking truck. Are those off-road rims on it?

So, after all of that, you want a 4x4 so that you don't get stuck in the mud when camping and you settled for a Sport and not the OR? :)

Just bustin' your chops a little... enjoy your truck!

Yea yea yea... I like the stiffer suspension of the sport. The places I go camping aren't around rocky terrain. So the travel of the OR suspension wasn't something I needed.

And for those asking. I like the OR wheels so I had them put the wheels I had on my SR5 (these wheels) on it. I plastidipped the fender flares, so it looks like a hybrid sport/OR. but it is def a sport.
