I've read most of the threads regarding swapping a manual into an auto, But my question has a slight twist:
    Can I keep a 2wd a 2wd?
Original truck would be a 99 prerunner V6.
I think the only transmission I could use would come from a Tundra or 95-97 2wd v6, correct?
Aside from that, what all would I need to change out?
The answers I get are all over the place, some people say it's 99% bolt-on And only needs a hole for the clutch pedal, But other people say you need to move and weld cross members and all the electrical. Would the tundra ECU work? What I need to change out the entire wiring harness?
    Is there any consensus?
